CHRISTMAS 2011

The theme for Christmas was blessed...probably should be spoiled but we'll say blessed. We are blessed with amazing, thoughtful, generous and wonderful family members. We were spoiled rotten! We spent Christmas morning at my parents, Sacrament meeting was lovely and then we enjoyed giving and receiving wonderful gifts. We gave some of Brandon and mine's favorite "things". I gave bag clips that I received at my bridal shower to girls, Brandon loves armor-all wipes for the car, we baked 9 loaves of bread for everyone, and compiled a Jaynes Family Cookbook filled with family favorites and memories. It turned out pretty good i think! I love stationary so I gave some pretty note cards as well.

The "At Home" Children

My Parents gift of my wedding bouquet. It turned out so good!

I love watching people open gifts. I love seeing what people pick for others and how excited both parties get in the giving and receiving. My family is quite large but we've never drawn names. I'm appreciate my parents gave us opportunities to practice and enjoy giving throughout our lives.

After the Jaynes Household was covered in paper and bows, Brandon and I retreated to our little Christmas tree and exchanged gifts. Brandon was very thoughtful in selecting some amazing workout clothes I had begged for, drinking glasses I had wanted and he searched for, Kitchen accessories and more. My stocking was stuffed full of some wonderful items including tea, apple juice and some squeezable strawberry jam I had included on my list.
I gave Brandon Harry Potter 7, cologne (funny story), modern family, and a subscription to Communication Arts. I was very lucky with the timing and pricing of some of my gifts!

My parents gave us these polar watches. They are so awesome! It's so interesting to see exactly how hard you're working out. We've loved them! 2012 will be our get fit year!

We had pizza with my brothers and their families and exchanged gifts in the afternoon. So many fun things!!

The weather was so nice and we were grateful for dry roads as we headed for the evening to the Finch's. We dined on delectable goodies. Completely stuffed we were showered with lovely things again! Clothes, music, decor, and a new mattress pad that we've loved sleeping on with fleece sheets; they are so cozy!! We have date night gift cards and are so excited to use those.  The day after Christmas all us Finch's headed to see Sherlock Holmes 2. What a fun thing to do together. We all thouroghly enjoyed it!
What a wonderful time of the year. We had an amazing first Christmas together as a married couple. We got to have Christmas truly all day and it was pure bliss! Thanks to our amazing families. We are glad to have spent the day with you. Merry Christmas indeed!
