A family that ROCKS together, stays together! Most of the family (we missed Tyson & Holly and Ryan & Adrienne's Fam's and Kate) headed to Salt Lake State Fair Park for the VANS WARPED TOUR! My Dad's company Wicked Audio had co-sponsored a booth and had some product there. We hung out for a bit, caught some bands including Allstar Weekend and Motion City Soundtrack and then headed out to rehydrate. Temperatures rared over 100 degrees and we couldn't get enough water. We all were happy to experience getting Warped a little and then headed out! Thanks Dad for the tickets-proud of your company and you! Glad we enjoy doing all kinds of activities together. I've got wicked awesome parents that jammed out at the Warped Tour!

Symphony & Picnic
Last night Mr. Finch and I packed a picnic and chairs and set up in the shade of the Taylorsville park for the Utah Symphony and Wasatch Cannoneers. Sandwiches and Symphony-what could be better. Oh I guess you could add some very loud cannons set off by accurately dressed period soldiers and of course a Symphony chocolate bar. The theme was patriotic anthems and songs from American composers. I was proud to applaud those in the audience that have and do serve our country in the various armed forces. The weather was perfect and we listened to beautiful music and chatted with eachother. All symphonies should take place in the park. Nature and Music accompany each other perfectly. This Taylorsville Dayzz celebration marks SIX YEARS that Mr. and I have been together. We first spent time together walking the carnival together. Glad that every year the city is kind enough to mark our meeting with fireworks!
